Painting - what...™s left? dining room definetly needs a second coat and [[Rod]] will head up organizing this - probably can...™t be done this weekend. Trim needs to be organized as well but it...™s getting done in bits and pieces. Doors have to be put on - parts in a platic container on top of the mail boxes. Left over paint - dry out with kitty litter and thow away - where to store paint? -
maybe just record the color and dispose - could store in hallway closets until touch up phase is done-
save or not save is the question?
Amy and GO CHOW - review see minutes for details - the whole bleach discussion what to use how much and where? we should request a few minutes at next community meeting to make some announcments about painting, cleaning - committe reports
issues include empting wastebaskets, cleaning tables, and cleaning leftover dirty dishes. amy suggests making it easy to wash your own dishes as made and making it clear this is expected. Melisa will put signs up about snacking. somehow we need to establish guides for where to eat and not eat how rooms are expected to be treated. signs e-mail announcements
outdoor laundry - OK
the dryer sheet proposal from Jillian -
Melisa objects to one dryer being reserved from dryer sheets.
Amy - decisions and balance of concerns will keep coming up around CH decisions.
perhps guaging what the whole community feels and how much support for this there is and what the inconvenience and accomodation balance
perhaps other solutions - better ventilation, different dryer sheets, should we put the responsibility of a solution on those who are experiencing the problem to propose possible solutions to provide more information
maybe we can create specific days for using certail products in the washer and dryer
maybe in the short turn open the window and keep the door shut
an externally venting fan?
fragrance free is acceptable portion of this for now - let...™s encourage this now, grandmother this in
billing for offices - not doing this and no one is paying yet - time to start and most logical is for this to go through central billing
****Adi will work with F and L to get this going and coordinate. will create separate account for offices ratherr than bill to households
----
added by Adi:
Turns out that as long as the offices are rented to a GO member, there are no
tax implications since we are "paying ourselves". So the billing for offices
will be done by the "central billing apparatus", however each office tenant
will be provided a ledger account separate from their household account to
facilitate their business expensing.
It is unclear at this time how the phone billing will work, but since go-net
billing will be separate, it is possible that the phone billing will be part
of that. What is clear is that office tenants will receive a separate bill for
their phone/Internet stuff from their office rent.

added by [[Rod]]:
This is an interesting distinction (renting to members vs. non-members). Since we have a relatively fluid definition of "membership," I suggest that if we ever find ourselves in the future in a position of renting to, say, Sunward or Touchstone people, we consider extending GO membership status to them. It seems intuitive to me that if they're working out of the common house they're "members of the community" enough to be involved in at least some aspects of the community process.
If we ever end up renting to genuine non-members (which seems unlikely to me), maybe we should raise their rents to cover tax costs--have member and non-member rates
----
phone list - in a book on the counter rather than on the wall
name - unit-phone number
[[Rod]] will do this
Fax - can...™t be in shared office because of disturbing - try in different rooms and see what works. First place will be Media room.
Everyone likes Ted...™s drawing of a media/information center for the main hall area
Melissa has steel shelving to for kitchen - all will wait until the sink will be installed - next weekend is it coming?
furniture protection - no longer available Maybe a small steam cleaner
piano in game room - let Hope know that the room is ready if she wants to move the piano in on a 6 month trial basis
aquarium - no $$ in budget for start or ongoing $00 0 $600 to set up 4 l x 12 d .
amy - eric and or tammy should summarize the cost and see how many support and will donate to the cause
temoprary c of o is running out - caulking has to be done - Ted...™s e-mail encourages that only people who are good at this should do it - may still consider hiring a contractor to do the caulking quickly and painlessly (but at what cost?)
[[Elph]] will be in charge of getting the kitchen island ordered and in place
