Monkey: Rod will look at the work holiday list from a perspective of adding
spring fall or a list b list tags and any other value add.
Monkey - Ted: Look into complexity of replacing laundry room utility sink
with a mop sink or the possibilty of both.
Monkey - Jim will call Gary at Faux Flooring for a quote on the laundry room
Monkey - Elph will send out survey of the summer of locked common house
experience
1. The laundry room is the next floor to get the marmoleum replaced by the
epoxy seal that we used in the entry way and the bathrooms. The color will
be the greenish/blue from the pattern in the entry way.
2. Door codes survey - Elph will send out a simple survey to see where
folks are at on the common house doors being locked.
Reminder: young children are not supposed to know the door code or be in
the common house unsupervised because of safety concerns.
3. Night lights were installed at various places in the hallway and some
rooms. They are built into the bottom edge of the wall outlet face plates
and only come on when it is dark. Cost was $12 per and will be billed to
Improvements.
4. The washing machine came in and was installed by Elph. Here's the info
we sent out earlier - for the record. With the labor day sales we were able
to purchase the same washer as last time for $300 off the $800 list price.
For those keeping score, that's $50 less then the last purchase which was
on sale at that time for $250 off. Last week it was $75 off. Thus we have
purchased a Samsung WF42H5000AW washing machine for $643.91.
Note, the price includes a 5 year extended warranty from Lowe's. This
covers everything, including parts and labor, for 5-years. For the price of
$110 it seems like a good experiment. We call Lowes and they dispatch good
ole Mastertech, which while it won't improve dispatch time, should lower
our cost of maintenance. Receipt with qualifying information will be taped
in a zip lock bag to the side of the washer.
5. Tevah has asked us about finding a home for a small painting she did.
The committee approves an expense of approx $100 for the production and
framing. We will ask Tevah to recommend a place for consideration.
6. Children's art clean-up. The children's art exhibit period has ended and
we will ask folks to now remove the art.
