CHECK IN ON NEW WORK SEASON JOB ASSIGNMENTS
- As Cleaning coordinator Nancy will put a job description in cubbies
for all cleaning jobs;
- Nancy will also check-in with cleaners when she has concerns or
questions about work not being done;
- Nancy will amend her job description to include helping CH cleaners
find subs and fill-ins when they are not available to do their job on
the recommended timetable, rather than skipping that job for a week;
- Nancy is curious if splitting some of the cleaning jobs would make
it easier for people to do them more consistently, because the job is
shared and less of a time burden to any one person; we will keep this
idea on the back burner, as we see what impact having a more active
cleaning coordinator has;
- Review job description for hall cleaners: add GUFF management

meeting and do some initial sorting and prioritizing; the committee
will then evaluate ideas and figure out how to move ahead;

ODDS & ENDS

HAND SOAP
Request to use NON-anti-bacterial hand soap in CH bathrooms; Nancy
will let Melissa M. (common house shopper) know that we want an
inexpensive, low or no fragrance NON-anti-bacterial product;

FISH TANK
Eric McGlohon is wondering what's up with his job / role as fish
tank maintainer; looks like Eric Kauppi now has the CH job that
includes fish tank maintenance; Heather will check in with both Erics
to make sure they connect and transfer fish tank duties; Sarah will
update the job description so that it includes the fish tank
maintenance;

HOBART
It's fixed! It got jammed back against the wall and the hose got
kinked. Let's ask Tom to put a brick or board behind the Hobart so it
doesn't get jammed against the wall, (as per Rod's suggestions)

CH BILLS
We can expect to see deductions of $140.27 for energy and $400 for GO-
net;

METAL BLINDS IN GAME ROOM
The committee appreciates Elph's suggestion and interest in improving
the game room by installing metal blinds; we decided to stick with
our plan to put up curtains to block light.

GAME ROOM MOVIE ACCOUTREMON
Adi is interested in hanging some speakers and finding a way to mount
a projector on the ceiling in order to make watching movies in the
game room an easier and more enjoyable experience for all; Dale has
some ideas about how to cover the sky light; We will ask Adi if he's
willing to create a proposal with $ amts that the committee could
review and figure out how to include in it's budgeting;

RUBBER MATS FOR KITCHEN
Elph forwarded info on some rubber mats for use in the kitchen to
reduce stress and fatigue for cooks and dishwashers; the mats cost
$100 for a 3' x 2'; we will forward this suggestion to meals and ask
them to evaluate pros and cons; CH would consider helping with
funding if meals wanted to move ahead with this;

HIGH CHAIR
Katie has suggested the the wooden highchair is problematic at times;
Becky has offered to donate a highchair she no longer uses; we will
accept Becky's donation; after some discussion of the baby population
at GO we feel we can get rid of the wooden highchair and still meet
our current and future highchair needs; Sarah will take the wooden
high chair to Salvation Army

BABY CHANGING TABLE
Katie reports that the baby changing table in the east end bathroom
is mounted too high on the wall for her to use safely with
confidence; she has heard from at least one other mother that this
was a problem; After scoping out the scene it appears that the ADA
bars next tot he toilets in each restroom prohibit the lowering of
the changing table; We will ask Tom to mount the baby changing table
in the laundry room, maybe behind the door, or under the dry erase
board; this is an important resource for members and visitors with
babies and needs to be accessible and functional;

MISCL
Sarah will send out an e-mail asking folks to collect the bar stool,
card table and scythe that are hiding in the weird corner nook if the
coat area; if they don't disappear she will do what she wants with them;
