Thanks to Lynn and Mary from TS for coming over! We talked at length
about communication and how to make it better.What makes the most
sense to us, after talking this through, is to just let the TS folks
sign up for jobs that they can come and do whenever. Trying to
coordinate 5 people to be available at the same time every month seems
unrealistic. Becky is happy to be the contact for this for the whole
summer. 5 workers, 2 hours a month. So, these are jobs they can do,
but we would like to know ahead of time who is doing what job.
Removing cobwebs from up high
Cleaning air vents
Clean baseboards
Cleaning walls in both bathrooms
Wash and wax the floors - the more this gets done, the better the
floors look!
Wash glass doors both sides
vacuum all rooms(be sure to change the bags as needed) - again, the
more times this happens, the better the building looks
ADDED: Cleaning out the fridge, both large and small, Cleaning the
laundry room, cleaning the kitchen,
CH knows that we already have some of our workers doing these jobs,
but cleaning can always be done more often!
BUDGETED IMPROVEMENTS/CH BLINDS
$2000 approved, approx $60 spent so far from our operating
improvements. What we said the priorities were at budget time:
Blinds and replacing locks. Quote from BB, to do everything except
south dining room doors = $3078. This is over our budgeted amount,
but there is the question we need answered from F&L. Do we get the
money from the sharing of the CH? Becky will check with F&L and the
BOA.
We estimate about $600 to replace the remaining old style locks.
Plus, we need a new vacuum. So, how do we prioritize the rooms?
Game Room - so we can have summer movies
Sitting room - will see energy savings in the winter
Dining room - finish the room off (South glass doors and side windows)
Kids room next year.
POST MEETING NOTE: After getting the info from the BOA, I think we
might change this order slightly. Becky will send a 2nd email later
to discuss that.
